Hi Steve,
I am writing to thank you and your team for all the time and hard work that was put into getting my DWI charges dismissed.
When this first came about I could only think of the worst outcome. I could only think of how I would have to stop working everyday because I was going to lose my license, which is how I make a living.
After our first session I knew that I made the correct choice for my representation. My confidence in your ability to represent me to the fullest rose from that day forward.
I was very elated when I received the phone call that my DWI charges were dismissed. Again, I cannot express my sincere gratitude for the work that went into my case.
Sincerely,

Hi Steve,
I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your efforts in getting the DWI charge dismissed.
I was witness to a demonstration of an exceptional and experienced defense attorney at work in the court room yesterday. I appreciate the hard work you have put into my case over the course of the year. Your optimistic attitude and focus on the details of my case made me a very content customer.
I would be happy to recommend you to anyone seeking legal assistance regarding DWI or other.
Thank you,

Dear Steve, Ama, and Staff:
I can't think of adequate words to express my sincere gratitude for all the diligent work you've poured into my case.
A little more than two years ago, my future seemed very bleak to me. For the first time in my life, not only was I in trouble, but I was in BIG trouble, facing a Felony DWI charge and the possibility of 2-10 years in prison, all at a time when I could scarcely have felt worse about myself. Thankfully, I realized the importance of finding an attorney well versed in DWI law, and with an impeccable trial record. I could not have found a better attorney, or a better man. Steve, you helped my family and me to navigate the strange world that is the judicial system.
During a difficult time, and through many difficult decisions, you were there. When I wanted to give up and accept a deal that would've included a Felony conviction, your courage and confidence inspired me to dig deep and stand up for what was just. We decided to go to trial, a harrowing five-day ordealit turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. To stand up and be judged by twelve strangers in one's darkest hour is no easy task. I was honored to have you at my side. Your expertise and savvy yielded a lesser-included Misdemeanor conviction. The outcome was better than I could've hoped for, and as I sit and write this today, I am an utterly free woman.
Ama, Laura, and Jill: I want to thank you for all of your hard work and persistence. Seeing you at trial touched my heart and bolstered my strength. At a time of unbelievable stress and emotional hardship, your presence and kind words calmed all of our nerves and helped to explain the indecipherable twists and turns of the proceedings. After two years, I have my life back, and thanks to all of you, a very promising future ahead.
Sincerely,

Steve:
I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking my case and cutting me a huge monetary break as well.
I truly knew that everything was going to be handled with the utmost care from the first day I talked to you. You rock as a lawyer and as a person. I hear your words in my head everytime I even think of drinking and driving.
I know you put your neck on the line as well as a lot of other people did and gave me a second chance at life. I will not let any of you down. I will complete everything the courts have asked me to do. Most importantly I will not drink and drive.
Thank you for helping me sleep better at night now that it's over.
God bless you and your family. Thank you once again.
Sincerely,

Dear Steve and Ama
I just wanted to say Thank You for your kindness. Just when things look so bleak and hopeless and nobody cares some miracle happens that gives you hope again and it shows you that someone really cares. What the two of you did for us was so wonderful and has lifted such a burden off of us. Thank you again for everything.

Dear Steve, Ama and Staff,
I am very grateful to you, Ama and your staff.
Into each life some rain must fall, my life was certainly no exception.
It is a comforting feeling to know you understood that. You have an innate ability to know a person right from the first hand shake.
I was sent to you by another well known attorney in Alvin. I can truthfully say you lived up to and exceeded everything he and others had to say about you. I was in a situation where the “System” was working against me and my small family. You took command immediately, never backed up an inch. You are truly one that will buck the system. It was tough to accept the fact that this kind of thing takes a great deal of time, but I gave you the reins, and when you called on Monday, September 25th and told me the charges had been dropped I was ecstatic. On Tuesday September 26th Jill called at 2:10 p.m. and confirmed that all charges were dropped and everything was signed. I could hardly believe what I was hearing.
From me and my daughter, thank you from deep down in our hearts.
P.S.: Each time I spoke to your wife on the phone or in person, I would always think to myself, “you know, her voice and personality could heal the sick.”
Thank you Mr. Gonzalez.

There are no words to express my gratitude for the excellent job you did at representing my son, _____________, in his DWI defense. From day one you guys made me feel confident that you could handle this case and would do the best job possible. You did not disappoint me. From Steve’s performance at jury selection to Jed’s closing arguments you were able to put on such a solid defense that the jury could only return with a not-guilty verdict.

Dear Steve:
I just wanted to let you know that today will remain one of the most memorable days of my life. Words cannot express the gratitude that I owe you. This experience was one of the most frightening and stressful situations that I have ever had to deal with in my lifetime and without your help, I do not think that I would have been able to make it through this. I so greatly appreciate your dedication and devotion to my case. In such a trying and stressful time you helped put me at ease and had complete control of the case and situation at all times. For that I sincerely thank you!
Throughout the ordeal you were like a comforting friend guiding and helping me through the situation. Because of that, I do consider you a friend and not just my attorney. I always felt that you were looking out for my best interests just as a great friend would do for another friend. I remember being in court and thinking that I was lucky to have that relationship with you, as I am sure many others in the courtroom did not have the luxury of that. This experience has definitely changed my life for the better. Without your guidance and assistance throughout this, I do not know that I could say that honestly.
Your dedication and resilience to my case was amazing. You made me feel like I was your only client and I know that you put a lot of heart, thought and hours into my case. For that, I would like to especially thank you and your family. Also, please let Ama know that it was an extreme pleasure meeting and dealing with her. She raised my comfort level to a level that is unexplainable. Both of you are such wonderful people that I will always remember and keep close in my thoughts and prayers, along with the rest of your family. I know that family is very important to you and I would also like to thank you for putting my family at ease during this event. Because of the knowledge and kindness that you showed to them, they too will always be appreciative of you and what you do did for me.
From one friend to another, I sincerely appreciate the job that you did for me and will never forget it. I also will never forget, “He may not be a Rolex, but he is definitely a Bulova!” Thanks for making it easy to laugh in a situation that it was hard to smile about. My most sincere thanks and gratitude.
Your friend, _________

Dear Mr. Gonzalez:
Kindly accept my perpetual appreciation. I am personally and deeply thankful that you took the time to explore my circumstances and were willing to accept my case, considering the extraordinary situation.
I am impressed with your knowledge of the law, your thoroughness in preparation, the evident level of respect in which you are held in the community and most of allthe speed with which you were able to achieve a dismissal in my case. As you know, this allows me to continue on a mission of critical importance. One element of my commitment is to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States…” You have reminded me that an intelligent, articulate attorney in a small town in Texas, personally driven in the mission of criminal defense, likewise is engaged in the support and defense of the Constitution of the United States. August 25, 2005
Dear Steve,
I am writing on behalf of _________ and I to express in our sincere gratitude for the wonderful job you did for our daughter. As you well know, your children are your treasure and the most important part of your life. We feel it our duty to love and support as long as we have breath in us. In this situation, we literally felt so many emotions. There was a lot of pain, anger, and most of all a sense of hopelessness with no answer. For some unknown reason, God's plan led us down this path that no parent should ever have to go. We thank Him for leading us to you. We thank you for the beautiful person you are. You never allowed us to lose our dignity, as easy as it could have been, your vivacious and positive personality gave us so much hope. Your trust in our daughter was worth more than we could ask for. Your kindness and care was felt from the first moment we met you. You lifted our spirits and helped us through one of the most devastating times of our life, with the exception of the death of my sister.
We are so grateful to you! When the problems snowballed from the actions of her past, it made it so much easier to get through with the comfort of knowing you were there. We trust in you, respect you, and want you to know that you helped us to restore our lives. From the bottom of our hearts we appreciate all of your hard work and efforts. You worked your magic doing what you obviously love to do and we want you to know your belief in her has changed her life. She is doing well and we believe life will someday resume to what it once was.
May God Bless you, Ama and your family

Dear Mr. Gonzalez,
Just a note to say thank you for all your assistance on behalf of my Grand-daughter, _________ . I received the news today that the charges were dismissed and it was certainly a relief to our family.
Thank you again for the kind and professional way you resolved her problem.
Sincerely, _________ .
Dear Steve and Crew:
Steve, I really appreciate the hard work and dedication you put into my case. As I told you before, “you’re the best”, and I truly believe this. There is no doubt in my mind that I couldn’t have found a better lawyer to defend me. It was a tough case but you came through with style...
...Anyway, on a serious note my wife _______ and I just started a new life together and without you it would be an uphill battle right now. So from the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank you, Ama, and Ashley for doing such a fantastic job. It was a pleasure doing business with all of you, but I hope we never have to do business again. I promise you one thing though. There will be quite a buzz going around about the great job you did on my case. Not to mention _________ and _________’s cases.
I have attached a gift certificate to Chabuca's in Webster. If you haven't eaten there yet you're in for a treat. Try to go on a Friday night and ask to be seated in _________'s section. He will take extra special care of you.
Drink some champagne and enjoy yourselves!
Thanks for everything guys!
Dear Steve and Ama,
We'd like to thank you once again for your excellent representation in defense of the DWI I received in 2002. You are without a doubt one of (if not THE) best criminal defense attorneys in Brazoria County.
We have been proud to recommend you over the past three years and will continue to do so. We thank the Lord for sending you our way. The job you did for us literally saved our family unit.
Had we opted for another attorney, I may well have been sent to prison and still be there today, some three years later.
Just to let you know, we have taken full advantage of the opportunity of freedom your hard work has afforded us. Let me share some things with you:
First, _______ doesn't have to raise four children on her own.
Second, we are both involved in the Children's Ministry at our church.
Third, because you were able to get me an occupational license even on a felony DWI charge,we were able to keep our business up and running.
Fourth, because you met with our whole family before the case really got started and again during the process, you gave us the peace of mind that money can not buy.
Fifth, we were treated with respect and dignity by everyone at your office from the recepcionist on up.
Sixth, you were honest and firm with us every step of the way.
Seventh, there was never a time when we didn't know what might happen next. Ama would actually CALL US to let us know how the case was going.
Eighth, your office has been helpful to us after the case was settled by answering our questions, returning our calls, and sending us to the right people in matters which you do not handle.
I could go on, but let me say that with you and Ama, we feel like we have real friends in the legal business.
Finally, one can not put a price tag on trust.
God bless you
2/15/05
I would personally like thank you for the great work you did recently on my DWI case. Steve handled the case very professionally and I would recommend him to anyone I know in the same situation. Thanks once again.

Dear Mr. Gonzalez:
First of all I want to start off by letting you know how thankful I am to have had you as my Attorney.
There was a time when I thought that there wasn’t any hope for my freedom, or of finding an attorney who was honest and truly devoted to their work. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for your hard work, dedication and the professionalism that you demonstrated throughout my legal ordeal.
I hope that you always remain true to your work and are able to help many others for years to come. May God bless you and your loved ones and once again, thank you.
November 26, 2003
Dear Steve,
Today is the day before Thanksgiving and this is one special time in my life that the word “Thanksgiving” never meant so much.
Because of you, Steve, my family and I have so much to be grateful for. Through your hard work, perseverance, and endless hours of dedication to my brother's case, he is now going to be a free man. You were able to see as well as feel, the pain and sorrow caused by an unjust accusation that could have taken five years out of his life. Nevertheless, because of your caring nature and unrelenting desire to help others, you have your personal commitment to see this case brought to justice.
I thank God for giving you such wonderful parents who created such a wonderful son. Through your unselfish efforts, Steve, you are able to fill people's hearts and make life worth living for. My children and I thank you for your patience, your professionalism and above all, for being you. (You're one in a million!)
Best personal regards
December 18, 2003
Steve,
I just wanted to take this time to let you know how grateful our family is for what you did for_________________. A very loved husband, son and father. This letter should have been written back in September but time flew by. Now here we are in December and this time of the year makes you remember all the things and people you are grateful for and Steve, you happen to be one of them. So now I am taking a few minutes to let you know how grateful we really are.
__________has been incarcerated for 6 months now. It has been very hard on me raising our child alone financially and emotionally, she asks for him all the time. I am just happy that she is young and hopefully won't remember any of this when she gets older. But I can handle it. Especially since I know that he will be coming home in March. These past few months are nothing compared to a few years, which he could have been sentenced to. I still remember that day in court like it was yesterday. His mother and I were so frightened for him that day, but it all worked out.
I thank God everyday for the Lord seeing him in a different light like his mother and I do, and giving him another chance. He is a good man who had a hard life as a child, and made a huge mistake as an adult. I thank God everyday for leading us to you as well. If it wasn't for God's good grace and for you Steve, ___________could have been sentenced for the maximum of 25 years but instead received only 9 months. Yes these past few months have been tough on me, but I keep my head up and my heart strong because this family has so much to look forward to in the future, thanks to you.
Attached is a picture of just my daughter and myself. I wanted you to see whom you have made a difference for. And in a few months thanks to your hard work, we have the opportunity to go back and take pictures again so our family portrait can be complete.
I would like to end this letter by saying to you Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I am, and forever will be grateful to you.
October 23, 2003
Dear Sir:
I wanted to thank you for taking ________ case. My husband and I, as well as my family greatly appreciate all that you have done for __________. Your generosity as well as your honesty and sincereness are very much appreciated. Without your willingness to take on the case, and your kindness and generosity, ________ would probably not be home with us today. However, through it all, we have all become much stronger and I hope that _________will become a much better person because of all of this. So, once again, Thank You.
Steve:
Here’s the money for the court costs. There’s no way for me to thank you enough. You're really great at your job. It's refreshing to get what you pay for!
Sincerely, _________.
Dear Steve,
Please accept my gratitude for your hard work and dedication in resolving my court cases. I really am amazed and surprised that the DA dropped all the alleged charges. I look to you not only as my attorney but a true friend.
I really feel that what the ________ Police department put me through was illegal and a misuse of their authority. When my heel heals, I am going to pursue and investigate the civil law with regard to the __________ Police department's misuse of their authority and treatment.
Sincerely, _________.

May your family and you always be blessed for the phenomenal work you do everyday.

August 6, 2004
Dear Steve, Ama, and staff:
On behalf of our son, ______, our family wanted to Thank You All for everything you have done, to date, to help ______ help himself at such a young age.
Steve, there are no words for everything you have done, to ______ in a sometimes very unjust legal system and legal web. You have given him hope when there seemed to be none, you have given us hope and you have understood. How do you thank someone for their life, their child…there really are no words. We are a loving and supportive family; ______ is a loving and caring person…he’s young… he unfortunately, has an addiction, which way too many young people these days seem to have fallen in to. The happiest day of our lives will be the day that the legal system truly and fully understands addiction, and the recovery world merges with the legal system in order to help these young addicts instead of crucifying them. Too many young people are having their entire lives destroyed. However, in the meantime, Steve it is people like you (and, you are very rare), who will make the greatest difference to these young (and, older) people.
We have such great admiration for you Steve, and your family. Steve, in your short years, you have done something with your life that only a few will ever do…you have dedicated your life to helping others. Oh sure, you make a good living, but in the end none of that will matter. What will matter are those people, whom you helped give them their life back, and you receive that letter or better yet you get that visit in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years or 20 years down the road when you are least expecting it, and you realize more than ever what your legacy on this Earth has been all about. You will know in those moments why you persevered in school, in your job and in your life. You truly are one in a million! And, we don’t say without, also, recognizing the wonderful wife and family support system you must have standing behind you each and every day.
We watched you perform your job, we’ve watched your compassion, we’ve seen your understanding and caring side, we’ve watched you in court while all other lawyers were huddled together in their little box, etc. We’ve watched you remove yourself from that comfort zone (lawyer’s box) in the courtroom, standing alone, and the confidence that radiates from you while doing so. You are your own person, your own man and you are special and unique in your field and to others.
Equally as important, we wish for you and your family a wonderful, caring and loving life. Because, we do realize you are a human being, a person who deserves to take care of yourself, also. You are needed; please try to take care of yourself too! You will never ever be forgotten by this family!
November 15, 2001
Dear Mr. Gonzalez,
On behalf of my family and myself, I wanted to let you know how deeply thankful we were for the vigorous way you handled our case. Not only were you always close at hand but without fail available to speak on the phone to give us updates on the case. We feel like it was only because of your consistent attention to this case that we came out a winner of what started out a very grave situation. You were always a gentleman to us, as well as my son, and as a result of your attitude toward him he was able to end this case with his integrity intact. It is now very obvious to us as why you came so highly recommended. We are very thankful to know you and again thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
God Bless you and Yours,
“A thoughtful act or a kind word my pass in a moment, but the warmth and care behind it stay in the heart forever.”
Dear Steve,
I will be forever grateful for your help in ending my legal nightmare. Your prompt action in the matter made all the difference. You have restored peace of mind to our home. For that, my husband and I are in your debt. I hope that life repays you ten fold for your kind deed.
Thank you very much.
Steve:
I do not know if it is customary or not correct to do this, but I wanted to write you a Thank You card and tell you how much we appreciated your help. I will admit when you first called here, I was very apprehensive over all the legal things we were experiencing, for the first time. But your patience and kindness helped get _________, as well as us through this tough time. We (none of us) have ever gone through any of this kind of thing before- so it was good to know ____________ had you fighting in her corner. Thank you, again!
I wish you and your wife a beautiful time and lots of wonderful memories with your little one. Steve, love that baby well and do not blink your eye- they will be grown too soon! I know this first hand. *Smile*
Thank you again for everything you did for ____________.
April 8, 2003
Dear Steve:
I’m sitting in my motel in ______________, it’s 5:00 a.m. on a Monday morning and I’m, preparing to begin my second level of ___________ Technician school.
I’m happier than I can remember. I realized a couple of days ago that I am allowed to be happy and that you are the reason I am here today. I don’t believe for one minute I can express my sincerest gratitude for all you have done for me.
You were so thorough, sincere, caring and most of all very professional. I know with all my heart that anyone that you represent will have the best of the best. I now consider you my friend and will do my best to keep my end of the deal and do my best to live my life of freedom being an asset to society and a good father, loving husband as I know that’s what you expect of me.
I guess to sum it up; I owe so much to you. You will always be in my prayers. Thanks, Steve, for believing in me.
P.S. May all your dreams come true!
Sincerely, ____________.

Dear Mr. Gonzalez,
I wanted to take this opportunity to express my overwhelming delight over the outcome of the case regarding ___________ and his son, _________. As you already know, I am a close friend of the family and had great concern regarding this family’s future. Having children of your own, I know that you can appreciate the role a father and a husband play in the overall welfare of his family, and how crucial it is to keep this unit together.
Without your help, your guidance, and your expertise in the arena, this outcome may not have been possible. When I came to you needing help, your passion and commitment to the __________ family was immediately apparent. You are a bright and refreshing example of how attorneys and the justice system can do what is right.
Thank you again for all of your hard work and persistence regarding this matter. I wish you and your family the best of health and luck in the future.
Thanks again, ____________.
May 22, 2003

You were able to overcome insurmountable odds and were yielding at driving towards an outcome that would not only be the right one, but satisfactory for all of us.
Without hesitation, we would recommend your services to anyone in need of counsel.
In closing, we would like to extend our best wishes to you and your family and that you will certainly enjoy many more successes in your career.

Thanks for your great representation, we are all breathing a little easier now.
We appreciate your positive manner and aggresive handling of our son's case and we are pleased with the outcome.
If you have time, I would love to buy you lunch at Joe's, next door to your office, sometime in the near future so we can review where we are.
Thanks Steve,
